Have you ever booked a vehicle for your family, and wondered what the mandatory laws are for safety when riding in a vehicle?

California law states the following:

Children under the age of 8 must be secured in a car seat or booster seat in the back seat.

Children who are 8 years of age OR have reached 4’9” in height must be secured by a safety belt.

Passengers who are 16 years of age and over are subject to California’s Mandatory Seat Belt law.

Please note that if you are traveling with an infant (less than 1 year of age), we do request that you bring your own infant-seat. We are able to keep the infant-seat for you, if you are departing on a flight, and bring it back to use upon your return. This is a complimentary service provided by Elite Express.

Here are some things you will want to know before your big day at the Academy Awards:

Street closures have actually already been in place since February 19th, on Hollywood Boulevard between Highland Avenue and Orange Drive and last until Wednesday, March 1st at 6:00am.

Rain or shine, the Oscars will be held at the Dolby Theater (formerly Kodak Theater.)

After being dropped off at the red carpet, limo passengers should receive a ticket which will be needed later on. This is so that the valet service can call your vehicle when you are ready to be picked up after the awards show is over. If you end up driving yourself to the Event, the same valet team should also be giving you a ticket and directing you to where you can park.

Let’s face it. Los Angeles traffic is bad.
